The $49 special is available to new cash pay patients only. If you have personal injury (PIP) insurance or workers compensation coverage, you are absolutely welcome as a new patient — however, your services will be billed at standard rates directly to your insurance carrier as required by Washington State regulations. We cannot offer discounted rates to insurance-billed patients.
I was in a car accident — can I still come in?
Absolutely — and we encourage you to come in as soon as possible. Auto accident patients are billed through your Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance at standard rates. Most patients pay zero out of pocket. The $49 offer does not apply to PIP-billed visits, but in most cases your PIP insurance covers everything at no cost to you.
Will I receive treatment on my first visit?
In many cases, yes. After your examination and report of findings, Dr. Bussard may perform your first adjustment on the same visit if appropriate. There is never any pressure to begin treatment — you make the decision when you're ready.
How long will my first appointment take?
Plan for approximately 45–60 minutes for your first visit. This allows time for your health history, examination, x-rays if needed, and a thorough report of findings. Follow-up visits are typically 20–30 minutes.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), any relevant medical records or imaging (MRI, x-rays), and a list of current medications. You can also complete your new patient intake form online before your visit to save time.
How many visits will I need?
This varies depending on your condition, severity, and goals. After your examination, Dr. Bussard will give you a realistic treatment plan with a clear timeline. There is never any pressure to commit to a long-term plan — you are always in control of your care decisions.
